About You
We are looking for bright, enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team. From the start of your career at Tessella you will be working on and contributing to real projects for our customers, so if you are interested in joining Tessella as a Software Developer, you should have:
• BS (min GPA 3.5), MS or PhD in biology, chemistry, or other life sciences discipline
• Experience in at least one of our core programming languages: Java, C#, C++, C or VB.NET
• Natural problem solving abilities
• Ideally 2+ years of software development experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
• Excellent communication skills
• Good teamwork ethic
A flexible approach to your work life is also important as you will be expected to travel to and engage with our customers. There are regular opportunities for staff to work on customer sites for several weeks or months. Longer secondments to other Tessella offices or to clients overseas may also arise as Tessella continues to grow.
Our Staff
We recruit the best graduates from the top universities who wish to develop careers as professional software engineers. Our staff thrive on working with state-of-the-art technologies and on a variety of projects, gaining experience across many different industries.
Training and development is at the heart of our culture. With an annual training allowance of 150 hours, our employees get to choose their own career path – technical, managerial or both. All of our technical staff have good science, mathematics or engineering degrees, over half of whom have PhDs. This means that they can readily understand our customers’ requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
