You will join an interdisciplinary team studying the different factors that affect the DNA replication process utilising state-of-the-art molecular biology techniques including next generation sequencing and microarrays. You will be expected to undertake statistical analysis of high throughput biological data using a variety statistical and bioinformatic methods in conjunction with modeling collaborators. The project focus will be on answering key questions using hypothesis testing and model selection techniques.
You will have a PhD in molecular biology or genetics, and ideally be skilled in analysis and integration of large diverse data sets. Previous experience with high throughput sequencing analysis, microarrays and/or bioinformatic analysis will be an advantage. Experience of writing scientific papers/reports and good communication skills with other disciplines are desirable.
